Spotify Focus Analytics for Focus-Minded Professionals
Local listening and focus time insights that never leave your device.
💡 Overview
If music is part of how you focus, it helps to see the pattern. Your whole routine is about removing distractions.
The dashboard shows a focus time counter for daily and weekly listening, a seven-day activity chart and leaderboards for top artists and tracks. The extension states that this data is stored in local browser storage with no external trackers, and that nothing is logged in Incognito mode.
🧭 A Day of Focus-Minded Professionals
Your whole routine is about removing distractions.
The problem: A music tab is a distraction waiting to happen.
The fix: Control music from the popup only, never the tab itself.
🚀 Try It in Three Steps
- Open the dashboard from the extension.
- Check the focus counter and the seven-day chart.
- Use the top artists and tracks lists to find your best focus music.
✨ What You Get
- Dynamic album-art backdrops: A blurred, color-adaptive background drawn from the current artwork, in dark or light theme.
- Four default hotkeys: Shift+Alt+Up toggles play and pause, Right skips, Left goes back and Down pauses only.
- Zero-polling design: A MutationObserver updates the UI only when the page changes, keeping CPU and memory use low.
| Task | Switching tabs | Spotify-Web Playback Controller |

Note: it works with the Spotify Web Player at open.spotify.com only, and does not control the desktop app.
