Spotify Focus Analytics for Remote Workers

💡 Overview

If music is part of how you focus, it helps to see the pattern. Your day is video calls, chat and documents in one browser, with music filling the gaps between them.

The dashboard shows a focus time counter for daily and weekly listening, a seven-day activity chart and leaderboards for top artists and tracks. The extension states that this data is stored in local browser storage with no external trackers, and that nothing is logged in Incognito mode.

🧭 A Day of Remote Workers

Your day is video calls, chat and documents in one browser, with music filling the gaps between them.

The problem: When a call starts, finding the music tab to pause it is the awkward first ten seconds.

The fix: Learn the pause-only shortcut so you can silence music the instant a call connects.

🚀 Try It in Three Steps

1. Open the dashboard from the extension.
2. Check the focus counter and the seven-day chart.
3. Use the top artists and tracks lists to find your best focus music.

✨ What You Get

• Local focus analytics: Daily and weekly focus time, a seven-day chart and top artists and tracks, all stored on your device.
• Four default hotkeys: Shift+Alt+Up toggles play and pause, Right skips, Left goes back and Down pauses only.
• Floating mini-player: Popup with play, pause, next, previous, shuffle, repeat, seek and a Liked Songs toggle.

Note: it works with the Spotify Web Player at open.spotify.com only, and does not control the desktop app.
